The Cast of Cinderella (Listed Alphabetically)
Tristan Altobelli (Topher)
Tristan is a junior, and he is honored to be a part of his 4th musical with Webster Thomas. He has loved being the dance captain of this great show and working with his fantastic directors. His most recent role was Pippin in last year’s production. Tristan is part of ROC City Singers, Thomas’ Select Choir, Webster Show Choir and music honors society. He has also participated in conference all state choir. Tristan also plays varsity football for Thomas as a wide receiver, defensive back and kick/punt returner. He would like to thank his parents and his sisters for their constant love and support.
Katie Baird (Madame)
Katie is a senior who is very excited to be a part of Webster Thomas’ production of Cinderella. In the past year she played Bethe in Pippin, and The Wardrobe in Beauty and the Beast. When she is not on stage she also enjoys Cross Country, Track, History Club, Best Buddies, and National Honors Society. She loves singing especially in Select Choir and hopes to minor in music when at college. She would like to thank all of her directors, her parents, her voice teacher Carl Wager, and all of her cast mates for believing in her and increasing her love for theatre. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Taylor Ball (Ensemble)
Taylor is a senior at Thomas and this is her first time being in a musical. Taylor is a member of Thomas’ Select Choir and Barbieshop, and she can be found taking long naps in the chorus room, printing sheet music, and drawing enormous pieces in AP Art. Taylor would like to thank her voice teacher at Nazareth College (where Taylor plans to study elementary education), Deborah Conquest, for all the endless guidance. She would also like to thank Mrs. Nitsch for encouraging her love of music. She is sending thanks to all of her friends and family for all the support. Being in a musical has been a life-long childhood dream that has finally come true.
Gio Battaglia (Ballroom Dancer)
Gio is a senior at Thomas and has been involved with the Drama Club since middle school! Outside of the musical, Gio is President of Tri-M Music Honor Society, and a member of Select Choir and the Thomas dance Team. Gio would like to thank his friends and family for all of their support and willingness throughout the last few years.
Ziah Blahyi (Ballroom Dancer)
Ziah is a sophomore at Thomas, and she is very excited to be a part of her first production here. She is a high honor roll student who sings soprano in Chorale. Ziah spends her free time practicing music and dancing with dance team. She would like to thank her family and her friends as well as her fellow cast members for all the wonderful memories they have made!
David Bobowski (Lord Pinkleton)
David is a Junior at Thomas HS and is active in multiple music programs offered at the school. He is in the Select Vocal Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, and Philharmonic Orchestra (as well as Voice Class and Theory). In past years, he was in the acting ensemble for Pippin and did stage crew for Aida. He is very excited to have a lead role in Cinderella and can’t wait for the audience to enjoy the magic of the show!
Maria Conti (Ensemble)
Maria is a sophomore here at Thomas and is excited to be in her first on-stage production. Last year she played piano in the pit orchestra for Thomas’ production of Pippin. Maria sings soprano in Chorale and takes part in the student-run acapella group called Barbieshop. She also plays violin in the school’s Philharmonic Orchestra. Outside of school, she takes private piano and voice lessons. Maria could like to thank all of her friends and family for all of their help and support!
Tessa DeGrace (Ella)
Tessa is a sophomore at Thomas HS and participates in Select Choir as well as Webster Show Choir. You may have seen her in past performances such as Lady Mary in the Admirable Crichton, Catherine in Pippin, and Hippolyta in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Thomas. She is beyond excited to perform in this wonderful show alongside her talented friends and would like to thank her amazing directors, family, and her wonderful voice teacher, Kate Thompson, for being so supportive.
Timothy Dudinski (Ensemble)
Tim is a sophomore at Thomas. This is his first musical production, and he is a hard-working student and a wonderful dancer. Tim likes to spend his free time recording music and working on his dances for the Thomas High School pep rally. He would like to thank his friends and family for their support during this musical and all the encouragement for his hard work.
Lauren Fairchild (Ensemble)
Lauren is a junior and this is her first show with Thomas High School. She is a high honor roll student who is in select choir and voice class as well as treasurer of the choral department. Lauren helps with donorship for SparX Robotics and is a co-vice president of international club. Previous credits include Peter Pan Jr. (Willink MS) and Who Do You Say I Am? (young Mary, UMC Webster). She would like to thank her incredible mom, the wonderful directors, and her fellow castmates for making the show a reality. Enjoy!
Jake Groff (Ballroom Dancer)
Jake is a freshman and has been involved with the drama club since middle school. Most recently, he was in Legally Blonde Jr, The Admirable Crichton, and Disney’s Newsies. Jake sings tenor in Chorale and plays the string bass in the Symphonic Orchestra. He is very grateful to be a part of this year’s production of Cinderella. Jake would like to thank his mom, dad, and family for their endless support, and his wonderful friends in the cast. He hopes you enjoy the show!
Becca Hammack (Marie)
Becca is a senior and is thrilled to be in her fourth musical at Thomas. Some of her favorite credits include Grease (Jan) and A Chorus Line at Blackfriars, South Pacific (Liat), Joseph, Fiddler on the Roof and Music Man with Webster Theatre Guild, and Pippin, Aida and Grease (Patty) at Thomas. She is in Select Choir, Chorale, Show Choir, and student directs Barbieshop. Throughout her school career, she has participated in Conference All-State, Area All-State, and All-County choirs as well as going to All-Eastern this April. She studies voice with Kayleigh DeBrine and will be studying musical theatre in college. She would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her throughout this whole journey. Jack Levine (Ensemble)
Jack is a senior at Thomas HS, and he is excited to be in his first high school production (he has been involved in the music program for his entire high school career). He has been in multiple music-related activities inside and outside of school such as RPO Holiday Pops, Show Choir and Thomas Barbershop, and he is also a member of both Chorale and Select Choir. He would like to thank his mom and the cast ad directors for making this a good first and last experience of a high school musical.
Rachael McVeigh (Ballroom Dancer)
Rachael is a senior at Thomas and this is her second year being involved with the musical. Rachael is a high honor roll student and a member of the National Honor Society. She sings in the Thomas Select Choir and plays french horn in the Thomas Wind Ensemble and Philharmonic Orchestra. Highlights of her high school career include being selected as an alto at Conference All-State and her role in the dance ensemble of Thomas’ production of Pippin. She would like to thank her family, friends & fellow cast members for their support.
Eric Mews (Ballroom Dancer)
Eric Mews is a junior and is very excited to be in his fourth production at Thomas. He has previously been in Grease, Aida, and Pippin. Eric would like to thank all of his friends and family for supporting him through it all. Eric would like to wish the best of luck to all of his fellow cast members.
Chelsea Muller (Ballroom Dancer)
Chelsea is thrilled to be performing in her last show on Thomas’ stage. Some of her past credits include Webster Theatre Guild’s “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat”, Thomas’ “Pippin”, and Thomas’ “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. When she’s not performing, she’s helping out in other aspects of theatre. She worked as the production manager for Thomas’ “The Admirable Crichton” and played in the pit orchestera for Webster Theatre Guild’s “South Pacific”. She plans to maor in directing. Chelsea would like to thank her fellow cast memebers, as well as her directors, for making this a wonderful experience.
Isabelle Nitsch (Charlotte)
Isabelle is a sophomore at Thomas HS and is thrilled to be a part of this year’s production of Cinderella! She has been doing shows since seventh grade. She is a member of the Thomas Select Choir, Webster Show Choir, and the Thomas Philharmonic Orchestra. You may have seen her in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Puck), Pippin (Theo), The Curious Savage (Fairy May), or mist recently in The Admirable Crichton (Tweeny). Isabelle would like to thank her friends and family for all their support and tank the cast for the great memories and friendship. She hopes everyone enjoys the show!
Nathaniel Peets (Ballroom Dancer)
Nathaniel is a Junior at Thomas and this is his second year in a High School production. Nathaniel is a High Honor Roll student as well as a member of the Tri-M Music Honors Society, and the co-founder of the Thomas Barbershop. Nathaniel has been a proud participant in various choral ensembles such as Area and Conference All-State. Nathaniel would like to thank his fellow cast members for making this year a worthwhile and rewarding experience, and his family for their continuous support (and continuous rides).
David Potter (Jean Michel)
David Potter, a junior, is thrilled to be in his third musical (and sixth production) here at Thomas. You may recognize him from Harvey, Aida, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Pippin, or The Admirable Crichton. During the day, he sings in Select Choir and voice class, and he pretends to dance in show choir. David would like to thank his family and friends, his fellow cast and crew members, and also his directors for all being rad. When he’s not busy destroying his vocal chords, David likes long walks on the beach, eating a lot of food, and writing cast bios that are exactly 106 words long. Observe…
Alexander Ramirez (Ensemble)
Alexander is a freshman at Thomas and he is very excited to be a part of Cinderella! His past experience includes The Wiz (Lion), RBTL Summer Stars Musical Theatre Program, as well as several middle school shows at Willink. Alexander has also performed in concerts such as Cabaret and Prism. He is a part of Barrel of Monkeys (men’s choir), Select Choir and Symphonic Orchestra (violin).
Hannah Rich (Ballroom Dancer)
Hannah is a sophomore at Thomas HS and has bee part of the drama club since middle school. She has most recently taken part in Pippin and Chicago. Hannah sings soprano in Select Choir as well as in the female acapella group, Barbieshop. She is very excited to be a part of another Thomas HS musical, and would like to thank her family and friends for all their loving support. She is very grateful for the outstanding music program at this school, and can’t wait to continue making amazing memories here.
Alejandra Rodriguez (Ensemble)
Alejandra is a senior, and she is so excited to be a part of her third production here at Thomas! She began to dabble in theatre in elementary school and has continued performing, especially within the Hispanic community. She would like to thank her family and friends, who have supported her throughout the years, making it to every performance. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!
Brynn Smith (Gabrielle)
Brynn is a sophomore who has been involved with the drama club and the student-run shows at Willink since the 6th grade, as well as directing the student-run play in 8th grade. She has been in the cast of the Fall plays at Thomas for 2 years. This is her first musical at Thomas, and she is very grateful to have such an amazing role and cast. Brynn is also a part of Thomas Wind Ensemble, Chorale, Philharmonic Orchestra. Clarinet Choir and Barbieshop. Brynn would like to thank her family, friends and directors for their endless support and encouragement.
Logan Smith (Ballroom Dancer)
Logan is a Senior at Thomas. This is her 4th (and final) show here. She is the President of the Choral Department as well as a member of the Select Choir, Chorale, and the student-run acapella group, Barbieshop. She has participated in NYSSMA Conference-All-State, and will be participating in NAfME All-Eastern choir in April. She has been on stage crew for Thomas’ productions of “Grease” and “Harvey”. She has also been featured in “Aida” and “Pippin” as part of the cast. She would like to thank her directors for the wonderful time she had creating the magic that is “Cinderella”, and her waltz partner, Gio, for helping her not trip over her two left feet!
Peyton Smith (Ensemble)
Peyton is a junior at Thomas HS and has been involved in the productions since middle school. This is her third production at Thomas. Peyton is the Athletic Coordinator for Student Council, a member of the National Honors Society, a member of the varsity soccer team as well as her club team in Irondequoit. She is also an editor for the school’s yearbook. Peyton sings alto in Chorale. Highlights of her high school career include volunteering for Rochester Regional Health Physical and Occupational Therapy this summer, as she hopes to pursue physical therapy as a career. Peyton would like to thank her Irondequoit teammates and coaches for their flexibility and support, and her parents for their help with her busy schedule. She would also like to thank the cast and directors for all the hard work they have contributed to making the production absolutely stellar.
Nick Walters (Ballroom Dancer)
Nick is a junior at Thomas. He was involved in the middle school musicals (Shrek and Peter Pan) as well as the student-run play, Anne of green Gables. This is Nick’s first high school production. He volunteers through Rotary Club, and he considers his acceptance into jazz and wind ensemble a highlight of his high school career. Nick would like to thank his family and friends for all their support.
Haley Warren (Ensemble)
Haley is a sophomore at Thomas HS and is excited to be a part of Cinderella! Here pas credits include: The Admirable Crichton (Agatha), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Snout/The Wall), Marry Poppins (Winifred Banks), The Pirates of Penzance (Edith), The Curious Savage (Samantha). She is a 2018 alum of Geva Theatre Summer Academy. Haley participates in the ESU Shakespeare Competition, Plays in the Philharmonic Orchestra (viola), and she is a member of the Literary Magazine, Improv Club and Environmental Club. Haley would like to thank her family and the directors, cast and crew for making this such a memorable experience!
Cole Weisensel (Sebastian)
This is Cole’s second year performing in Webster Thomas’ musical. He was previously in last year’s musical, Pippin, as a dance ensemble member. He was also in Peter Pan Jr. as Peter Pan and in Shrek Jr. as the Gingerbread Man. He would like to thank all of his fellow cast members and directors who have helped him develop as a performer. Cole would also like to thank his parents for being so flexible and supportive.
Emma Weisensel (Ensemble)
Emma is a Junior at Thomas HS and this is her first High School show. Emma was in Aladdin and Peter Pan in middle school and has recently rejoined the drama program. At school, Emma sings in the Thomas Select Choir, is a candidate for National Honors Society and is an active member in Rotary Club and Yearbook Club. She enjoys playing guitar and jamming with friends and her family. Emma is so excited to be a part of Cinderella and would like to thank her friends and family for encouraging and supporting her. She also would like to send a special thanks to her brother Cole (Sebastian) for encouraging her to join the drama program at Thomas.
Julia Yakowyna (Ensemble)
Julie is a senior at Thomas and is very excited for this year’s production of Cinderella. She was involved in Pippin (acting ensemble) and The Curious Savage (Lillybelle Savage), and this is her third production. She is a two-year girls’ varsity volleyball player and a high honor roll student. Julie sings alto in Select Choir (a highlight for her) and also participates in Barbieshop. She would like to thank her family and friends for always encouraging and supporting her. She would also like to thank Mrs. Nitsch for giving her so many opportunities and for always believing in her. Julie plans to study education in college and she can’t wait for the next chapter in her life, but she is going to miss her fellow castmates dearly and wishes them nothing but the best in all their endeavors. She would also like to thank her dog, Toby, for being so cute.
